Lower Merrimack River Local Advisory Committee (LMRLAC)

The Lower Merrimack River has protected designation due to its outstanding natural and cultural resources. Under authority of NH RSA 483:8, the Lower Merrimack River Local Advisory Committee (LMRLAC) formed in 1990 to conduct activities such as reviewing wetland applications and site plans for development, assisting with trail projects, and commenting on conservation activities within the river corridor. NRPC has a long history of planning partnership with LMRLAC.
